Nicole and Chris founded Lucky Lola’s in 2014 when they decided to officially combine their families. They each had 2 kids and 1 dog and needed to be creative in transforming a 3 bedroom home to fit a family of 6 with 2 dogs. With the house at maximum capacity, they decided to transform the garage into an extra living space. The collaboration— of the family and garage renovation— was a success and Lucky Lola’s was born.

Chris has always enjoyed working on his home and creating art and has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He’s proficient in CAD and designing space and electrical layouts. In general, Chris has the unique ability to design and build almost anything. He has worked with wood since he was a kid and knows how to weld and shape metal after years of designing and building custom motorcycles. It’s the combination of wood and metal that brings the most interest to his work.

Nicole’s background is in advertising and interior design. Also proficient in CAD, Nicole collaborates on the overall design and focuses on the interior and finishes. She manages the design process, logistics, and coordination of all projects.
